Christmas has dawned upon the city, meaning festive décor and events are sprucing up left, right and centre. LANDMARK is known for its reliable commitment to the heartwarming season, from its enticing shopping offers to its newly-opened Christmas Market. Recently launching its charity Christmas campaign, ‘The Spirit of Giving’ focuses on giving back this year, after months of hardship globally, but particularly for those who need it most. Collaborating with three Hong Kong-based charities, LANDMARK and Santa Paws & friends remind us to share our love, goodwill and cheer this festive season with a special, charity-inspired Christmas theme that celebrates the wonderful sentiments of the Spirit of Giving.
LANDMARK, Hong Kong’s one-stop dining and shopping destination, marks its holiday festivities this year with Santa Paws, his exciting new Paws family member, Polar Paws, and their loving friends and companions.
The Spirit of Giving Charity Christmas Market
Transforming the ground floor of LANDMARK ATRIUM into a special Charity Christmas Market, the Spirit of Giving Charity Christmas Market installation features booths dedicated to supporting three non-profit organisations in Hong Kong.
“This Christmas, LANDMARK is celebrating the ‘Spirit of Giving’ with a charitable initiative that aims to support younger members of the Hong Kong community, helping inspire and encourage children and youths to fully pursue their aspirations,” explains Mr Raymond Chow, Executive Director of Hongkong Land.
Visitors can explore the three charity booths, with all proceeds from sales going to one of LANDMARK’s three designated charities, Youth Outreach, Make-A-Wish Hong Kong, and Principal Chan Free Tutorial World.
All proceeds from Centricity, Hongkong Land’s suite of digital and physical services for Hongkong Land office tenants, will go to Youth Outreach, a charity which helps at-risk youths growing into a responsible community members through engagement into unique and innovative cultural platforms.
Buy a special plush toy or Christmas decoration from Make-A-Wish® Hong Kong booth or from the Wishing Machine where visitors can help the children of Make-A-Wish® Hong Kong by donating HK$20 to receive special Christmas stickers.
All proceeds from the last booth will go to Principal Chan Free Tutorial World, an organisation providing free learning support to Hong Kong’s underprivileged children whose families are experiencing financial difficulties.
LANDMARK will also host its first-ever charity auction of 12 adorable LANDMARK Polar Paws, each wearing a unique branded or handmade scarf from top brands including Harvey Nichols, HBX, KENZO, Moschino, Ralph Lauren and Tory Burch. This will take place from 1st December to 18th December. Bidding will be available via the LANDMARK HONGKONG App under Giving Back with Polar Paws, with all bid donations also going to the designated charities.
